- Axel Einar Hjorth was chief architect at Nordiska Kompaniet in the years 1927-38 and his furniture was manufactured at NK's own workshops in Nyköping. When Hjorth left NK and opened his own store on Kungsgatan in Stockholm, he also had this furniture manufactured under license in Nyköping. The business ceased after a few years.
