This set of Megaphos wall lamps, designed by C.F. Otto Müller and produced by Sistrah – Licht GmbH in Germany during the 1930s, represents an exquisite example of early 20th-century lighting design. The lamps are distinguished by their sleek construction in nickel-plated metal combined with elegant glass shades, embodying the industrial yet refined aesthetic characteristic of the period.

The design features a gently curving arm that extends from a rectangular wall bracket, supporting a tiered glass shade system. The shades are composed of opaline and clear glass elements arranged in a stepped form, creating a layered effect that diffuses the light softly and evenly. The nickel plating on the metal components adds a subtle sheen and durability, enhancing the lamps’ vintage industrial character while maintaining a sophisticated finish.

C.F.
