Information

This is a pair of round wall mirrors, model number 133, produced by Glas Mäster in Markaryd, Sweden, during the 1960s. The mirrors feature brass frames with a broad, rounded profile that creates a distinct depth and elegant shadow play when mounted on the wall. The brass has a softly brushed surface, which gives the frames a warm, matte appearance while subtly reflecting light.

The mirrors are crafted from high-quality crystal glass, providing a clear and undistorted reflection. The design is minimalist yet substantial, embodying the Scandinavian mid-century approach to functional decorative objects. The generous thickness of the frame enhances the sense of presence on the wall, allowing these mirrors to work well as a pair or individually as a focal point in an interior.

Both mirrors are in good vintage condition, showing light signs of age and a warm, even patina on the brass, consistent with their period of production. The original manufacturer’s label is preserved on the reverse, confirming their provenance.

Each mirror measures 57 cm in diameter with a depth of 5 cm, corresponding to approximately 22.4 inches by 2 inches. This pair is representative of Swedish mid-century design, balancing craftsmanship with understated elegance.
