This side table with integrated storage box was designed by Gunnar Myrstrand and produced by Källemo in Sweden during the 1960s. The piece reflects Myrstrand’s interest in compact, multifunctional furniture, where storage and display are combined within a clearly articulated architectural structure. The piece is executed in rosewood, showing a warm palette of medium to dark brown tones with pronounced grain patterns and natural variation across the surfaces. The construction consists of a slender, elevated table frame supporting a box-shaped storage unit. The storage box features finely executed finger joints at the corners and a hinged lid that opens to reveal an interior lined in blue textile, adding a subtle contrast to the dark wood exterior. Below the main compartment, two shallow drawers are integrated into the lower section, maintaining a balanced and compact visual expression.

Structurally, the table stands on four straight, square-section legs connected by stretchers, providing stability while keeping the overall appearance light and precise.
