Information

These elegant nesting tables were designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard and produced by Nissen in Denmark in 1964. Crafted from solid teak, the design reflects Quistgaard’s distinctive ability to blend sculptural form with functional precision — a hallmark of mid-century Danish design.

Each table features a gently curved, tray-like top with subtly raised edges and integrated handles, allowing them to be used individually or stacked neatly together when not in use. The organic contours of the tabletop are balanced by slender, tapered legs that express both lightness and strength, creating a silhouette that feels poised and dynamic from every angle.

Executed in warm teak with a deep, even grain, the set carries the tactile refinement and craftsmanship typical of Quistgaard’s work for Nissen. Its modular functionality and understated elegance make it equally suited for contemporary or classic interiors.

In excellent vintage condition, showing minor signs of age consistent with careful use.
