Johannes Andersen dining table

This dining table was designed in 1968 by Johannes Andersen and produced by Hans Bech in Denmark. It is crafted in rosewood, a material highly prized in Scandinavian mid-century furniture for its rich grain patterns and depth of color. The table presents a dark brown surface with subtle reddish undertones, highlighted by flowing natural wood grains that give it both warmth and sophistication. Its oval top rests on two sculptural pedestal bases, each constructed with four vertical supports joined by angular feet, creating a stable yet visually open structure.
