Steen Østergaard easy chairs

This rare pair of easy chairs, model Tango, designed by Steen Østergaard and produced by Terrex Art in Denmark in 1968, exemplifies mid-century modern design with a sculptural and innovative approach. The chairs feature a distinctive chromed steel frame constructed from curved steel slats that form an X-shaped support, creating a sense of lightness and giving the chairs a floating appearance. The legs seamlessly extend into the base, providing both strength and stability.
