Stools

This pair of folding hunting stools is of unknown design but likely produced in Sweden during the 1960s. The stools feature three rounded beechwood legs connected by a central pivot mechanism, enabling folding for ease of transport and storage. Each stool is topped with a triangular seat crafted from natural leather, hand-stitched along the edges and secured with riveted metal hardware, emphasizing both durability and craftsmanship. Leather straps with buckles are affixed to the lower legs, designed to lock the stools in their folded position, serving practical and decorative functions.

The design exemplifies utilitarian Scandinavian mid-century objects, where mobility and simplicity are paired with natural materials and visible artisanal details. Both stools show signs of age and patina consistent with regular use, especially noticeable on the leather seats and the wooden leg surfaces, which enhances their authentic vintage character.
