Henry Rosengren Hansen bar stools

This rare set of three bar stools was designed by Henry Rosengren Hansen and produced by Brande Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1950s. They are exemplary of Scandinavian mid-century design, combining elegant craftsmanship, refined materials, and a functional yet sculptural aesthetic.

Each stool features a frame in solid teak, a wood prized for its warm tone, strength, and rich grain, which contributes to both the visual and structural integrity of the design. The seat is upholstered in cognac-coloured leather, showing a beautiful natural patina that speaks to the age and authenticity of the pieces. The leather’s smooth surface and deep colour create a harmonious contrast with the warm wood, while also offering comfort and durability.
