This rare dining table, by an unknown designer and produced in Italy during the 1960s, combines refined materials and modernist proportions within a minimalist structural logic. The table top is crafted from mahogany with a deep, reddish-brown tone and a striking linear grain, while the base is constructed from patinated bronze, exhibiting a warm, oxidized surface that enhances its architectural silhouette.

The table is supported by two pedestal legs, each composed of four vertical bronze fins radiating outward into cruciform bases, creating both visual balance and stability. The central metal stretcher that links the two supports reinforces the structural clarity of the design and anchors the composition. The top is rectangular with crisp, squared edges, and features an integrated extension mechanism that allows the table to expand significantly. With both leaves extended, the length increases from 180.5 cm to 256 cm, offering flexibility for larger gatherings without compromising the form’s elegance.

The mahogany veneer surface shows high-quality craftsmanship, with attention to seamless joins and the preservation of continuous grain flow across the panels.
