Nils Fougstedt

Nils Fougstedt (1881 - 1954)
Nils Fougstedt was born 1881 in Stockholm, died 1954 in Stockholm, was a Swedish craftsman, sculptor, illustrator and decorator.

He was the son of Lorenz Fougstedt and Ingeborg Pettersson and brother of Arvid Fougstedt. He worked not least with tin crafts and inspired Estrid Ericson, among others, to devote himself to tin work. Together with her, he also founded Svenskt Tenn in 1924. As an illustrator, he contributed drawings to some Stockholm newspapers. Fougstedt is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm.

He is buried at Boo cemetery in Nacka.
