Floor lamp

This rare floor lamp was produced in Sweden during the 1950s. It features a slender frame with a base composed of three elongated metal rods radiating from a circular platform, providing stability and a visually light appearance. The structure is finished in lacquered metal accented with brass elements, and the central section includes a tapered decorative detail in a muted gray tone, adding subtle visual interest. An adjustable brass arm extends outward from the central column, allowing for flexible positioning of the light source. The lampshade is made of perforated brass, which produces a soft and diffused glow when illuminated.

The design exemplifies Scandinavian modern aesthetics, combining functional materials with elegant simplicity. The use of lacquered metal, brass, and perforated details aligns with mid-century lighting design principles, where minimal forms were enhanced by warm and natural materials.

The lamp remains in original condition, showing signs of wear consistent with its age. The brass elements have developed a natural patina, and the lacquered metal surfaces exhibit minor wear typical of vintage use.
