Carl-Axel Acking floor lamp
This very rare floor lamp was designed by Carl-Axel Acking and produced by Bröderna Malmströms Metallvarufabrik in Sweden during the 1940s. The lamp is a distinguished example of Swedish modern design, featuring a brass structure with three perforated, bowl-shaped shades that provide subtle and elegant light diffusion. The central stem is uniquely wrapped in spirally wound brown leather, offering a refined tactile contrast to the polished brass elements. The solid brass base ensures stability while contributing to the lamp’s cohesive and balanced aesthetic.
