Erik Riisager Hansen nesting tables

This rare and refined set of three nesting tables was designed by Danish architect and furniture designer Erik Riisager Hansen, produced in the 1950s by the distinguished Haslev Møbelsnedkeri in Denmark. Each table is crafted from richly grained rosewood, showcasing the deep reddish-brown hues and contrasting dark streaks characteristic of this tropical hardwood. The wood grain features strong linear and swirling patterns that provide high visual interest, amplified by a smooth, satin-like finish that enhances the natural depth of the rosewood surface.

The design exemplifies mid-century Scandinavian aesthetics, prioritizing clean lines, refined proportions, and functional elegance.
