Floor lamp

A rare Swedish floor lamp from the 1950s, distinguished by its sculptural and organic form. The design is defined by a slender, continuously curved stem that rises in a soft arc from the circular base, creating a fluid, almost calligraphic silhouette. This elegant line gives the piece a sense of movement and lightness, characteristic of Scandinavian modern lighting from the period.

The structure is wrapped in natural fiber, likely rattan or cord, which lends the lamp a warm, tactile surface and a soft matte appearance. This material treatment enhances the organic quality of the form while introducing subtle variation in tone, ranging from pale beige to slightly darker hues where the patina has developed over time. The circular base mirrors the wrapped construction, providing stability while maintaining visual coherence with the stem.
