Frits Henningsen stool
This very rare stool, designed by Frits Henningsen and produced by his own cabinetmaking workshop in Denmark during the 1940s, exemplifies his dedication to traditional craftsmanship and refined design. The restrained detailing and precise joinery reflect Henningsen’s commitment to balancing classicism and modernity, emphasizing material integrity and functional elegance.
Frits Henningsen was known for personally overseeing production in his workshop to ensure that each piece met his high standards of quality. This stool embodies his design philosophy and stands as a testament to Scandinavian modern aesthetics.
