Gunnar Nylund vase

Rare ceramic vase designed by Gunnar Nylund and produced by Rörstrand in Sweden during the 1950s. The piece exemplifies Nylund’s sculptural approach to ceramic form, with a slender, elongated silhouette that tapers elegantly toward both base and neck. The triangular mouth, slightly asymmetric in its contour, enhances the organic quality of the design and reflects the studio’s sensitivity to natural, flowing lines.

The surface is finished in a deep brown matte glaze with subtle transitions toward warm ochre tones and hints of turquoise blue at the upper section.
