Henrik Blomqvist table lamps
A rare pair of tall table lamps designed by Henrik Blomqvist and produced by Stilarmatur in Tranås, Sweden, during the 1960s. Executed in glass and brass, the lamps exemplify the refined sculptural balance and material contrast characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century lighting design.
Each lamp features a stacked composition of rounded glass elements in a deep, lustrous brown tone, separated by polished brass connectors that lend rhythm and elegance to the vertical form. The combination of glossy surfaces and warm metallic accents creates a sophisticated visual dialogue, while the geometric repetition of forms gives the lamps a sense of both modernist precision and organic softness.
These lamps embody the understated luxury of Swedish lighting design from this era—functional objects elevated through thoughtful proportion, rich materials, and artisanal craftsmanship. They remain in good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear consistent with age.
Please note that the lamps are sold without shades.
