This table mirror, designed by Uno and Östen Kristiansson and produced by Luxus in Vittsjö, Sweden during the 1960s, is a refined example of Scandinavian mid-century design. It reflects the Kristianssons’ approach to minimalism and material clarity, emphasizing both functional integrity and sculptural presence.

The mirror features a circular reflective surface enclosed within a solid rosewood frame. The rosewood is notable for its warm coloration and prominent grain structure, ranging from deep brown to subtle tonal variations that highlight the natural beauty of the material. The frame is mounted on a vertical steel rod, which connects to a cross-shaped base fabricated from brushed stainless steel. The rear of the mirror is finished in cream-colored laminate or hardboard and supported by a rosewood cross brace with visible finger-jointed connections. The mirror is adjustable in tilt and secured by two wooden side knobs, allowing the angle to be precisely set for practical use while maintaining the clean lines of the overall form.
