Information

This rare set of eight dining chairs was designed by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen and produced by Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik in Denmark in 1964. The design reflects the Danish modernist approach, emphasizing clean lines, organic forms, and expert craftsmanship. Each chair is constructed from solid rosewood, showcasing a deep and varied grain pattern. The frame has a refined silhouette with subtly curved back legs that transition into the slightly angled backrest, providing ergonomic support. The seat is round and upholstered in its original fabric, a warm orange textile that complements the natural tones of the wood. The backrest is also fabric-covered.

Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen was known for his sculptural yet functional designs, often working with premium materials to create pieces that balanced aesthetics with comfort. Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik was a renowned Danish furniture manufacturer recognized for its precision woodworking and high-quality production.

Each chair measures 47 cm in width, 49 cm in depth, and 79.5 cm in height (18.5 x 19.3 x 31.3 inches), with a seat height of 42 cm (16.5 inches). The condition of the chairs is consistent with their age, with minor wear visible on the upholstery and wood, maintaining their original character and patina.
