Frits Henningsen rocking chair

This exceptional rocking chair was designed and produced by Danish master cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen during the 1940s. It is a rare example of his work, combining traditional craftsmanship with an elegant, modern sensibility. The piece reflects Henningsen’s deep commitment to quality and a sculptural approach to form, characteristic of his furniture made in limited numbers by his own Copenhagen workshop.

The chair features a solid stained oak frame, which provides a stable yet gently contoured foundation for the rocker’s motion.
