Börje Johanson bar stools

This elegant pair of bar stools, model Classic, was designed by Börje Johanson and produced by Johanson Design in Markaryd, Sweden, during the 1960s. A quintessential expression of Scandinavian modernism, the stools merge refined materials with functional sophistication and sculptural clarity.

Each stool features a tulip-shaped base and footrest in polished brass, which gives a luxurious, reflective quality that contrasts beautifully with the seat’s rich cognac-brown leather upholstery.
