Gunnar Nylund vases

This set of nine glass vases was designed by Gunnar Nylund and produced by Strömbergshyttans Glasbruk in Sweden during the 1950s. Each vase is crafted using the overlay technique, where an amber-colored inner layer is encased within a clear outer layer of thick-walled glass. The forms are distinctly organic and asymmetrical, with fluid contours and softly curved edges that lend the vases a sculptural and dynamic quality.

The condition of the vases is well preserved, with no visible cracks or chips. The glass surfaces retain a glossy finish, and the original Strömbergshyttan sticker remains affixed to at least one of the pieces, confirming their authenticity.
