Hans Bergström wall lamp

This rare wall lamp, model 397, was designed by Hans Bergström and produced by Ateljé Lyktan in Åhus, Sweden during the 1950s. The design reflects Bergström’s refined approach to mid-century Scandinavian lighting, combining functional clarity with subtle decorative elements. The lamp embodies a balanced composition of materials and form, characteristic of the period and of Ateljé Lyktan’s high-quality production.

The structure is executed in brass with a warm, softly aged patina that enhances its visual depth. The wall mount is formed from a folded brass plate, extending outward to support the light source with a gently curved arm. The arm terminates in a cylindrical holder, creating a harmonious transition between the mount and the shade.
