Hans Wegner dining table

This is an extendable dining table, model AT-312, designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by the Danish cabinetmaker Andreas Tuck in the 1950s. Hans Wegner, a central figure in Danish modern design, is celebrated for his ability to blend functional simplicity with refined craftsmanship. His designs frequently reflect an architectural sensibility, underpinned by a deep understanding of wood and its possibilities as a material.

The table top is crafted from teak, presenting a warm, golden-brown tone with fine horizontal grain patterns that enhance its natural beauty. The frame and legs are made from solid oak, which provides a structural contrast to the teak, featuring a lighter hue with subtle, visible pores.
