Henry W. Klein sideboard
This very rare sideboard was designed by Henry W. Klein and produced by Bramin in Denmark during the 1960s. It is an elegant example of Scandinavian modern design, combining refined craftsmanship with a strong sense of proportion and material harmony.
The sideboard is executed in richly grained rosewood, complemented by an internal structure in oak, highlighting the contrast between the deep, warm tones of the exterior and the lighter interior. The sliding doors feature beautifully matched rosewood veneers that form a striking symmetrical pattern, demonstrating Bramin’s attention to detail and precision joinery.
On one side, the piece is equipped with drawers that showcase sculpted horizontal handles, while the other side conceals spacious storage behind sliding doors fitted with discreet metal pulls. The design rests on slender, tapered legs that elevate the cabinet and give it a graceful, architectural lightness.
A perfect blend of functionality and sculptural form, this sideboard embodies the timeless elegance characteristic of Danish mid-century furniture.
Good vintage condition with minor signs of age and a beautiful patina throughout.
