Ole Wanscher dining chairs

This is a rare set of six dining chairs designed by Ole Wanscher and produced by Slagelse Møbelfabrik in Denmark. The chairs feature elegant rosewood frames paired with brown leather upholstery, reflecting Wanscher’s refined approach to Scandinavian modern design.

The design showcases Wanscher’s mastery of proportion and material, with each chair’s backrest featuring a crisscross design that highlights the beauty of the rosewood’s natural grain. The wood is rich with deep, contrasting tones that create a dynamic, organic look. The clean lines of the frame are complemented by the luxurious brown leather seat and backrest, offering both aesthetic appeal and comfort.

Each chair measures 47.5 cm in width, 49.5 cm in depth, and 83 cm in height, with a seat height of 42 cm (approximately 18.7 x 19.5 x 32.7 inches, seat height 16.5 inches).
