This rare easy chair, model X-chair (FH-6135), designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark, is a distinguished example of Danish modern design. The chair’s frame is constructed from laminated mahogany, a technique that enables the creation of elegant, flowing curves while ensuring a lightweight yet structurally sound build.

The original seat and backrest are made of canvas, attached with brass eyelets and lacing, offering a clean, minimalistic look that harmonizes with the refined wooden frame.
