Sven Mejlstrøm wall lamps

This pair of wall lamps was designed by Sven Mejlstrøm and produced by Mejlstrøm Belysning in Denmark during the 1960s. The design features a geometric brass backplate supporting a vertical cylindrical arm that carries a hemispherical brass dish. The dish serves as a holder for the smoked brown glass globe shade, which diffuses the light and creates a warm, atmospheric glow. The overall design emphasizes balanced proportions and the sculptural qualities of the materials.

The brass components exhibit an attractive aged patina consistent with their age, while the glass globes are in very good condition with only minimal signs of use.
