This is a square-form Swedish serving trolley produced during the mid-20th century, specifically in the 1960s. It combines brass, lacquered wood, and smoked black glass in a composition reflective of both Scandinavian minimalism and Hollywood Regency flair. The trolley is constructed with a brass frame featuring two rectangular black glass trays, each bordered by a brass gallery that provides structural and visual framing.

The vertical supports are formed from turned, tapered elements in black lacquered wood, visually echoing the forms seen in the companion round model. The contrast between the polished brass and black lacquered components contributes to a dynamic yet balanced aesthetic. The glass surfaces are smoked and highly reflective, which enhances the sense of luxury while remaining functional for serving or display purposes.

The handle is formed from bent brass tubing, wrapped with a striped detail in black and ivory-toned material, likely plastic or lacquer, which adds both tactile grip and stylistic accent. Four brass castors allow for full mobility and underscore the object’s functional roots in domestic service and entertaining.
