Itsu floor lamps

This rare pair of floor lamps, produced by Itsu in Finland, reflects a distinctly Scandinavian approach to materials and form. Designed by an unknown maker, the lamps exhibit a vertically oriented composition that blends organic and refined elements—leather, cane, and brass—into a cohesive and elegant profile. Each lamp stands on a wide circular base and rises vertically in a slender column. The base and lower portion of the stem are wrapped in light brown leather, which has developed a soft patina and displays minor wear such as surface creases and scuffing, consistent with age. Above the leather wrapping, the stems transition into finely woven cane, adding texture and a warm, natural contrast to the brass fittings. The cane is tightly wrapped and evenly finished, reflecting a high degree of craftsmanship.
