This ceiling lamp, attributed to an unknown designer and likely produced by Bergboms in Sweden, is a refined example of mid-century Scandinavian lighting. With its smooth, domed shade crafted from polished brass, the lamp reflects the era’s emphasis on clean geometry and understated material richness.

The shade has a broad, shallow curvature measuring 40 cm in diameter, creating a balanced silhouette that allows for generous light dispersion. Its polished brass finish presents a warm golden tone, enhanced by a natural patina that has developed over time. This aged surface introduces a subtle depth and variation in tone, contributing to the lamp’s vintage character while retaining its refined presence.
