Glas mäster table mirror

This rare table mirror was produced by Glas Mäster in Markaryd, Sweden, during the 1960s. The design is executed in brushed aluminium, giving it a cool, industrial aesthetic typical of Scandinavian modernism in the mid-20th century. The mirror is circular with a deep aluminium frame and is mounted on a simple, cylindrical stem and round base, resulting in a clean and geometric composition. The mirror is tiltable, allowing for functional adjustment, and the hardware connecting the mirror to the stand is visible, giving it a mechanical character that underscores the functionalist approach of the design.
