Hans-Agne Jakobsson candlesticks

This rare pair of candlesticks, model L-184, designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced by Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd, Sweden during the 1950s, is a distinguished example of mid-century Scandinavian lighting design. The candlesticks are constructed from solid brass, featuring a cylindrical stem that rises from a round, weighted base to ensure stability. Over time, the brass surfaces have developed a natural patina, adding depth and character while reflecting the age and authenticity of the pieces.

Atop the brass frames rest amber-tinted glass shades, carefully shaped to diffuse candlelight softly and evenly.
