Hans Bergström wall lamp

This exceptionally rare wall lamp, designed by Hans Bergström and produced by Ateljé Lyktan in Åhus, Sweden, is a masterful expression of mid-century Scandinavian lighting design. Created during a period when Bergström was at the forefront of shaping modern Swedish interiors, the lamp combines sculptural presence with subtle light diffusion, exemplifying the functional elegance for which his work is known.

The lamp features a hand-hammered brass backplate formed into an organic, asymmetrical oval. The surface is richly textured, with the hand-hammering process introducing irregularities that enhance the artisanal character of the piece.
