Ib Kofod-Larsen easy chair

This is a rare easy chair, model Sälen, designed by Danish architect and designer Ib Kofod-Larsen and produced by OPE Möbler in Sweden during the 1950s. The chair features a frame crafted from solid teak with a sculptural form characterized by angular lines, gently reclined posture, and precisely faceted armrests. The dark reddish-brown teak contrasts elegantly with the black leather upholstery, which includes both the fixed seat shell and a separate loose seat cushion.
