Ib Kofod-Larsen easy chairs

This very rare pair of easy chairs, model 4346, designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark during the 1950s, exemplifies the refined elegance and craftsmanship of Danish modernism. The chairs feature solid teak frames, meticulously crafted with organic contours and precise joinery—hallmarks of Kofod-Larsen’s design philosophy. The armrests flow outward in a smooth curve, seamlessly merging into the angled legs, resulting in a structure that is both visually light and structurally robust. The seats and backrests have been recently reupholstered in high-quality Kvadrat wool fabric, known for its durability and rich texture.
