Percival Lafer sofa

This rare two-seater sofa was designed by Percival Lafer and produced by Lafer MP in Brazil during the 1960s. The piece is characterized by its combination of a solid rosewood frame and supple brown leather upholstery. The leather is deep button-tufted, creating a visually rich surface and enhancing comfort. The detachable cylindrical neck pillow is supported by black metal brackets, allowing it to be removed if desired, which provides versatility in its appearance and seating profile.

The frame is constructed from solid hardwood with rounded edges and visible joinery, a hallmark of Lafer’s attention to detail and craftsmanship.
