Tove Kindt-Larsen sofa

This two-seat sofa was designed by Tove Kindt-Larsen and produced by H. Skøtt-Jensen in Denmark in 1954. The piece exemplifies the refined simplicity and sculptural precision that characterize Danish mid-century furniture design. The frame is crafted in solid teak, with gently tapered legs and a Y-shaped side support structure that emphasizes the lightness and organic quality of the wood. The seat and backrest are newly reupholstered in a fine wool fabric in a neutral grey tone, which complements the warm reddish-brown hue of the teak.
