This Swedish table or wall lamp, designed by an unknown maker, is a refined example of mid-century Scandinavian functionalism, blending minimal form with versatile functionality. Produced in Sweden, the lamp presents a restrained design that prioritizes geometry, material contrast, and usability—characteristics often found in Nordic lighting from the 1950s and 1960s.

The lamp consists of a grey conical metal shade, finished in a smooth matte tone that offers a neutral and modern aesthetic. The back of the shade features a series of small perforations, which function as ventilation for heat dissipation while also adding a subtle decorative element. These perforations create a delicate light pattern when the lamp is illuminated and viewed from the rear or side.

Supporting the shade is a triangular brass base that anchors the piece visually and structurally. The brass has developed a soft, natural patina over time, with warm, aged tones that contrast gently with the cool, industrial grey of the shade.
