Table lamp

This rare mid-century Scandinavian table lamp, model No. 514, was produced by AB E. Hansson & Co in Malmö, Sweden, during the 1960s. The lamp is crafted from solid brass and features a decorative grip section clad in natural snakeskin, a detail that enhances both its tactile quality and visual texture. The combination of materials is characteristic of a period that emphasized organic elegance and bespoke craftsmanship in lighting design.

The form is defined by a conical shade with precisely perforated rows of small holes around the lower perimeter, allowing light to escape gently and creating a soft ambient effect when the lamp is illuminated. The shade is attached to a tubular brass arm with an angular bend, which connects to a round weighted base.
