Hans Wegner dining chairs

This exceptionally rare set of ten dining chairs, model CH-31, was designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in Denmark. Originally introduced in the 1950s, the CH-31 is emblematic of Wegner’s commitment to merging functionality with sculptural elegance. This set is crafted from solid oak, a wood favored by Wegner for its strength, clarity of grain, and Scandinavian character.

The oak frames exhibit a warm, natural tone with consistent grain variation, contributing to the visual richness and tactile appeal of the chairs.
