The Inca model easy chairs with matching stools were designed by Arne Norell and produced by his own workshop, Arne Norell AB, in Sweden during the 1960s. This model is one of Norell’s most iconic designs, recognized for its combination of generous proportions, visible construction details, and high comfort. The chairs are executed in beech with red leather upholstery and brass hardware, highlighting the designer’s preference for natural materials and robust craftsmanship.

The frame is constructed from cylindrical beech elements, joined with exposed dowels that emphasize the structural honesty of the piece. The leather seating is supported by straps and buckles in both leather and brass, which not only serve a functional role but also create a distinctive aesthetic detail. The seat, back, and armrests are composed of thick, loose cushions upholstered in red leather.
