Arne Norell easy chairs

This rare pair of easy chairs, model Löven, was designed by Arne Norell and produced by Arne Norell AB in Aneby, Sweden, during the 1960s. The chairs exemplify the principles of Scandinavian Modern design, characterized by refined craftsmanship and the use of premium materials. The frames are constructed from solid walnut, notable for its warm, rich grain that accentuates the chairs’ sculptural and organic form. The gently curved armrests flow naturally into the structure, while the backrests are defined by four horizontal slats that serve both aesthetic and structural functions.

The original buffalo leather upholstery remains intact, presented in a deep green-brown tone that has developed a rich patina over time. This aging process highlights the quality of the leather and adds depth and character to the seating surface.
