Ceiling lamp

This is a large and rare flush mount ceiling lamp produced in Sweden during the 1940s. The lamp features a circular shade constructed of pleated fabric in a soft, warm beige tone, mounted within a narrow frame. The pleating radiates symmetrically from the center, creating a sunburst effect when illuminated. A brass finial secures the shade at the center, contributing to its refined mid-century aesthetic.

The materials include fabric and brass, both showing a well-preserved patina consistent with age. The frame and central mount display minor traces of wear, adding character without detracting from the overall appearance. The lamp is designed to sit flush against the ceiling, diffusing light evenly and producing a warm ambient glow.
