Floor lamp
This is a rare Swedish floor lamp from the 1950s, produced by Falkenbergs Belysning. The lamp combines rosewood and brass, presenting a refined mid-century Scandinavian aesthetic. The cylindrical stem is crafted in rosewood with distinct grain patterns, segmented by subtle ring turnings that create a rhythm reminiscent of bamboo, while the brass elements—including the base and upper section—add a warm metallic contrast. The base is circular, flat, and made of brushed brass with concentric turning marks, supporting the vertical structure with stability.
The lamp was originally paired with a lampshade, but it is offered here without one. Its original pull-chain switch is positioned just below the socket, reflecting period functionality. The piece shows a good vintage condition with light patina and minor wear consistent with age and use, which enhances its authenticity and character.
