Hermann Bongaard side table

This very rare side table was designed by Hermann Bongaard and produced by Plus in Norway during the 1960s. It exemplifies Scandinavian mid-century modern design through its thoughtful combination of materials—chromed steel, teak, and enamel—that together create a visually striking yet balanced composition. The tabletop is distinguished by its slightly concave form, skillfully constructed with dovetail joints at each corner to enhance both structural integrity and design detail.
