Lisa Johansson-Pape ceiling lamp

This ceiling lamp, model 61-338, was designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape and produced by Stockmann-Orno in Finland during the mid-20th century. The piece is a striking example of Scandinavian mid-century lighting design, balancing elegance, materiality, and functionality with refined simplicity.

The lamp features a large, smoothly rounded opaline glass shade in a soft white hue, designed to diffuse the light evenly and warmly throughout the space. Beneath the shade, a series of concentric brass rings adds a sophisticated architectural detail, while also helping to direct and soften the light downward. The frame and suspension rod are made of polished brass, offering a warm, golden contrast to the cool opacity of the glass.
