This rare wingback easy chair, model 4365, was conceived in Denmark in the 1960s and carries the hallmark precision of Fritz Hansen’s workshop. Its solid teak frame presents a warm, honeyed tone that complements the cognac brown leather shell. Over decades, the leather has acquired a rich patina, displaying subtle creasing and color variation in high-contact areas, evidence of both its durability and well-worn authenticity.

The chair’s silhouette is defined by a continuous leather shell that forms both seat and back, gently molded to cradle the body. The backrest rises to a tall height before flaring outward into pronounced wings that offer lateral head support.
