It features a striking silhouette defined by a sharply tapered conical shade in vivid red lacquered metal, contrasting with its white interior. The shade is mounted on a vertical blackened wooden stem, which extends from a circular black lacquered base. The combination of a bold geometric form and a minimalistic structural logic is typical of Northern European modernist lighting design from the postwar era.

The lamp’s most distinctive visual characteristic is its sculptural interplay between the angular outer shape of the shade and the curved heart-like shape formed by the white-painted inner surface, as revealed when viewed head-on.
